I never thought as a mother of four young kids (ages 2, 4, 5 and 6) I would decide to launch a line of shirts, but I did!
Like most moms, I was missing my pre-kiddie figure and the pulled together outfits I used to wear. I wanted the look of a crisp collar underneath a great sweater. But, UGH! When I tried that look, I felt messy, bulky and uncomfortable!
I wanted a collar and a smoothing, slimming look at the same time.
Then, I had my eureka moment! What if I replaced the body of my button-front with something less bulky?
Off to the corner tailor I went with my favorite stretchy camisole and the perfect button-front shirt. After instructing the tailor to put the two together — SkinnyShirt was born!
